    The Grand America Hotel

The exquisite Grand America five-diamond hotel is centrally located in Salt Lake City's business, historic, cultural and entertainment center. Inspired by the charm and craftsmanship of Europe's classic hotels, the Grand America offers richly appointed rooms, luxurious amenities, spectacular views of the Wasatch Mountains and outstanding customer service.

Considered by the industry as the "Best Hotel in Utah," Grand America opened its doors for the first time in 2002 and hosted royalty from around the world during the Winter Olympic Games.

Alt Summit attendees receive the discounted convention rate of $229.00. Book now.
The block of rooms reserved for Alt Summit attendees at the Grand America Hotel has been filled.

1/7/10 Update: The Grand America opened up a few more rooms at the discounted price. When you call (800 621 4505), ask for the Altitude Summit Discount Pricing.

Sundance weekend means many of the Salt Lake City Downtown hotels fill up. If you're searching for a place to stay, and the Grand America is no longer available, here are some great options:
    1) Try the Little America Hotel. It's Grand America's little sister and it's right across the street from the conference venue. Super convenient.

    2) If you don't have access to a car, look for hotels in the Southern Salt Lake metro area. Ask the hotel about their proximity to TRAX. TRAX is the easy-to-use commuter rail, run by the UTA, from the suburbs to downtown. TRAX stops directly in front of the conference venue (Grand America Hotel). Super easy. Whether you stay at Grand America or another hotel, you'll likely be riding on TRAX over the weekend — it's the easiest way to get around downtown.

    3) If you do have a car, downtown is easy access from pretty much any hotel in the Salt Lake Valley — even the airport. Just ask your hotel or contact the friendly folks at Visit Salt Lake.

We can't wait to see you at Alt Summit!
