Alt Chat Wednesday: Keeping Your Passion Alive

The news is filled with stories of entrepreneurs who turned their passions into businesses. From the outside, the journey may look smooth. But the journey we see is only part of the story.

Following your dreams takes effort. The passion we feel when we start the journey can wane, as our business doesn’t grow as quickly as we’d hoped. Doubt can creep in when we hear No again and again. Or, our business grows and we move away from what we love to manage our business. We’ve accidentally delegated what we loved.

Six Steps to Keep Your Passion Fresh

While pursuing our dreams, it’s important that we regularly check in with ourselves. These six steps will help you keep your passion fresh.

  1. Put Big Ideas into Motion
  2. Realize You Can’t Do it All
  3. Discover Your Routine
  4. Find Your Voice
  5. Be Authentic
  6. Share Your Dream—Why You Started Your Business

Let’s Chat

There you will find personal stories about my life and family weaved in with real-life, achievable entertaining tips, recipes for hearty home cooked meals, and DIY projects for capturing and sharing memories. I believe the best place to swap stories is over a shared meal, preferably a Thai-meal served family style, and teach an online introduction class to Thai Flavors and host the Family Dinners at The Station supper club in San Francisco.
