The Countdown is On!

Get ready... Get set...

We've got three things on the agenda today. First, the countdown is on! Registration opens for Alt Summit 2012 on Monday, August 1st — and early birds get $50 off. So get your browser windows open to be the first in line for tickets to the hottest event in January. We're not biased or anything.

Next, we're loving all the submissions that have been pouring in and we're looking forward to announcing the first round of speakers. If you didn't get the chance to suggest a topic or speaker, don't worry. We're still accepting submissions through August 20th. Email your suggestions to gabrielle@kirtsy.com.

Lastly, once again we're lucky to be holding Alt Summit at The Grand America in downtown Salt Lake City. If you want to ensure that it's just a quick elevator ride to all of the classes and parties, reserve your room today. It sells out every year, so if you think you're going to attend, we encourage you to reserve a room early, so you're guaranteed one of theirspacious and gorgeous suites. If you change your mind, you can cancel your reservation — no harm (or charge) done.

Marketing creative, community engagement specialist, technophile, photographer, food and wine enthusiast, and the founder and editor-in-chief of The Road to The Good Life, a lifestyle blog about appreciating and enhancing your life by being grateful for the "haves" instead of lingering on the "wants." There you will find personal stories about my life and family weaved in with real-life, achievable entertaining tips, recipes for hearty home cooked meals, and DIY projects for capturing and sharing memories. I believe the best place to swap stories is over a shared meal, preferably a Thai-meal served family style, and teach an online introduction class to Thai Flavors and host the Family Dinners at The Station supper club in San Francisco.
